If the pricepoint is less than the XTC then Reihhold may have a winner on his hands!

Looks like it might be the Plex channel out of the XTC and maybe a 3 or four gain stage for the hot channel. It would be cool to be able to switch back and forth on the two inputs with an A/B box.

Mike the Axe is fantastic but it won't get close to a Bogner. My XTC still destroys the Axe for Bogner tone.

The Marsha was exactly what I was thinking when I saw this as they seem to be a lot alike from a functional standpoint...particularly footswitchable gain and MV controls for the dirty channel.

Photoshoot with the beat up cab for a brand new amp seems silly. My first thought was, oh yay, another modded Marshall with lots of switches. But, if this is something like the amp Cantrell used on Facelift, then hot damn I'm excited to check it out. I don't think the Snorkler has all those fancy switches, but maybe the tone's in there somewhere.

Yeah, yeah...just another boutique Marshall clone, right? I hear that, but if Bogner designed this to cover that Facelift era tone, it will be unique. None of the mods have covered that tone IMO (except the Bogner Marshalls). That's my favorite guitar tone ever so this would be worth it to me as well as a lot of other players I think. And to answer your earlier question, the ripped grill cloth is intended to portray that old beat up plexi look, obviously. Maybe looks a little too contrived though.
