Apologies up front for the poor video quality. Been a few years and I have multiple excuses... :)

This is a very cool little amp. Most of the rhythms are single tracked with a single mic, despite my love of double tracked guitars and using multiple mics. My goal was to mostly show what this little amp can sound like in the most basic of recording situations which is also why I used an SM57.

As usual, watching in HD will give the best audio experience.

Sounds great Bob.

With video clips being "standard" these days for sharing stuff I appreciate the more raw approach to recording the audio just to get the camera mics out of the equation.

Was the gain all from the amp by the way?

Thanks bud. I meant to stick a picture in the video with the settings but spent way too much time learning iMovie today and scrapped the idea. Here's the amp settings (see pic) and yes, all from the amp. There's one more click of the knob to add even more gain.

Very cool. A nice tip of the hat to a metal blues vibe.

Nicely done.

Loved it Bo! That Panama looks awesome. Very simple!

Bob knows Bogner. That was badass, man. I'd like to hear how it sounds with a well equipped LP.

That lil amp has BALLS. WOW!

Like the Bog cab with the Paisley. Did you have that done? I wanted a 2x12 cab and head like that last year.

I like these small heads from them. The Brixton is a little fire breather. I can't get past the $1250 price tag though. I'll wait for used.

Sounds great Bob, very good recording quality!

What kind of volume levels are we talking about for this one?

Sounds good Bob, the drums are a bit buried but it's an amp demo after all :)
The amp sounds great, nice articulation and the lead tone is excellent.

Nice job Bob. Didn't help my mini-Bog GAS one bit...gonna have to scratch that itch one of these days...

Thanks guys!

Yeah, it would definitely sound great. A couple problems for me... first, LPs and I don't get along and second, I don't have one. :)

I've had the cab and also have a paisley Shiva-J ("super Shiva") for years now. I also had a 4x12 paisley Bogner cab. These were done back when I had a connection for the tolex. I have no idea where to get it now.

It's not talking volume, but it was WAY lower than when I normally record and took all the pain out of having a cabinet in the room with me while tracking.

Yeah, I struggled with the drum mix bigtime. It's looking like I need to get me a drum package again and re-learn how to efficiently program drums so that I can choose my kit and tailer the drums to the tune, not vice verse (although I like that approach on occasion too). There are a lot of fantastic drum jams that get posted at HC but the drum sounds are more modern metal than I like. Beggars can't be choosers though so I'll just keep using these until I stop being cheap and lazy

You got the mini-recto, right? Would love to hear something from that amp.

Yeah, that's my only amp right now and I like it a lot. I don't know that it does any one tone better than the mini Bogners but it's very versatile. Two channels, 4 modes, loop, etc.

I'd record more but all I have is my iPhone. I need to get a mic for it...
