Awesome thanks! I think that would be a really cool little rig. My worry with 44 watts solid state is that it couldn't keep up with a hard hitting drummer (maybe it would, I don't know).

Don't worry about that, it is LOUD. No problem keeping up with a drummer. Did you see this clip?

It starts to breakup around noon due to the preamp circuit also built into it but more or less clean all the way to really loud band settings. Also remember in most cases you will prob mic one speaker live in a lot of places. Where you can't, this shows you can hang with a band. If you read the description the link was one room mic at their practice space.

If you wanna go bone crushing, check two speaker cabs:

Man, that is super cool! Thanks for the post!

I'd agree between the volume of the .44 and the volume push the Ecstacy Red can provide I think it would have not problem keeping up with a loud drummer.

Are you guys using these through your clean channels? I really wish I could try one out before buying.

I want a pedal I can use on my clean channel as well as my drive channel, that's why I'll be passing on these Bogner pedals. I need individual level and gains, not just an extra boost.

For clean channel I run the gain up high and set the level to matvh the amps volume. For already distorted drive channels I run the level of the pedal high and the gain low. I want to check out the GT500 from Fulltone for that. The BB+ was ok.

Maybe I got a special one or something but mine sounds good on a clean or the dirty channel of my Mark III. I like the boost options on it too. The mini pot below the volume to boost the volume and one on the gain side to boost the gain. I think it's a pretty genius pedal.
