Bogner Red demo, best I've seen.

While I held on to the BLUE because it fits in a place I can't get to with my amps the RED was my favorite of the 2. A very very nice pedal. Amp like is a good way to put it.

Funny, I just "discovered" this dude last night and his other awesome demos.

WHO is this guy? Homeboy can PLAY.

So do these pedals and Bogner in general have that "darker" quality to them? I have listened to a few demos of the blue and it really seems to lack the cut that I would get from a Marshall or a Plexi in particular. Are these pedals too smooth i wonder..

Out of curiosity, did my clip lack cut? I thought both the rhythm and lead tones cut quite well, and that was in a full mix.

wow, i need a smoke - and i don't smoke. fabulous player

had a red with a BE-100, was overkill but sounded badass. ideally I think the pedal works best on clean amps, would love to try the red through a bogner barcelona

I have a New Yorker. It is out and waiting for the Red to come from Brad.

Of course I just need that guy to play it....

I have a Bogner Twin Jet stack on order - Bogner needs to get busy
I had a Metropolis combo I should have never sold, the Red would have blistered that frigging amp, which was already awesome.

Fook-A-Me!!!! As stated, bad ass playing and great tone from that pedal. How well would these do in front of a rack power amp?

NICE! That was some great playing  I'm telling you guys, the Bogner Red is not just another dirt box. I know I go on and on about it, but it's a must-play pedal. Like our favorite lurker once said, "getting the Bogner Red is like getting a new amp!".
Couldn't agree more. It is like getting a new amp. I was a dirt pedal FREAK until I got my Einstein. I retired all of them from my board until the Red came out and I had to dabble again. I've sold 3 pedals since getting it (Menatone Howie & Kar Krash and a Rockbox boiling point) and I'm even tempted to sell my Soldano GTO which I bought brand new and thought I'd never sell. It really is that good. The Red and a KoKo boost is bout all you need.

sounds nice, i been wanting to get a pedal to play thru a clean amp and this seems like it suits it.
alot of the pedals ive tried with clean amps arent tight or just sound fuzzy.

Might just be how I hear things but in a lot of blue demos including yours, I hear a rounding off of the top end with more emphasis on the lows and low mids. Just wondering if this is what Bogners are like as well. I am not saying that they don't stand out, just that they lack that crispness up top. I would love to hear your JMP grinding vs. the blue. Might also be how people are setting their cleans and this i want to figure out because the blue and red sound killer here:

I'd love to know if this one vid is just the camera mic vs the tone of the pedal.

Who needs anything else! Killer tone!

I love some of the XTC profiles on my Kemper too! Which is odd because I never liked the amp in person.

Can anyone compare the gain channel of a JMP/800 with the red or blue in a vid? Just want to hear differences (if any) between A. a pedal and amp, B. brightness and cut of pedal vs. amp.

Damn, it doesn't matter what the pedal sounded like, that dude just sold some of them.

That was some smoking playing.

You guys are killing me.

Just posted some stuff up for sale and am looking for a Red now.

The red pedal is by far the best pedal I've bought! And yes, do not think of it as a dirt box. Instead, think of it as another highly tweakable channel suddenly added to your amp. A mod channel. I see a lot of guys saying it's very amp-like...shit, I like it better in front of my clean channel on the Lonestar than I like the Lonestar's crunch/lead channel. In fact, I even prefer it over my 101b's crunch and lead. It's just my cup-o-tea tone. Amp-like is an understatement.

Anyone use a Red for direct tracking? Wondering how that sounds, cuz I would get one for late night jammin into my computer.
