The red pedal is by far the best pedal I've bought! And yes, do not think of it as a dirt box. Instead, think of it as another highly tweakable channel suddenly added to your amp. A mod channel. I see a lot of guys saying it's very amp-like...shit, I like it better in front of my clean channel on the Lonestar than I like the Lonestar's crunch/lead channel. In fact, I even prefer it over my 101b's crunch and lead. It's just my cup-o-tea tone. Amp-like is an understatement.
