Hey folks! I finaly just bought a Uberschall rev blue after a long wait. Had one before but I had to sell it cuz I was short on cash.. but now its back!! And at my suprise this one sound much better than the old rev blue I had..!! Is this possible?!.. The clean is much more alive and the amp sound less dark than the other one but still retain his Grrrrr grit tone!. Maybe cuz I change my mesa cabs for a small diezel 2x12 V30. Who know..!

But here is my question: Who does have some experienve playing the Uber in stereo and which amp do you recommend pairing it with??

Thanks!

I REALLY liked my Twin Jet paired with my Diezel Herbert. Ran those two together for a long time.

Haha someone might have a cheaper suggestion..?! now I'm broke after purchasing my uber! haha

But thanks for the suggestion! always good to know ;) Btw would you happen to have a video of it?! :)

5150/6505 go good with most amps. I got a good sound with a Rev 2 and a VHT 100CL as well. Was crushing.

I know it's an expensive option, but I have the Uber and a Hagen and ran them in stereo, massive sound.

Marshall Super Lead or JCM800. Uber = dark and low-mids. Marshall = bright and upper mids with less gain. Good match.

Yes this is what I was actually thinking. Its hard to try all the options but for sure 5150/Herbert/Hagen are all massive for low end and chugg riffs. But I would like to have a balanced sound cuz I compose pop/metal/symphonic like Evanescence, Epica, Nightwish, etc

BTW hows your Chupacabra vs Yeti? Are you happy with these amps? If you had to chose one, which one would it be?

I like the Chupacabra more. It's more aggressive and mean. The Yeti is tighter, but smoother. If I could combine the tightness and low-end of the Yeti with the growl of the Chupa it'd be perfect.

Twin Jet + Rev Blue =

If money is an issue... PV6505+ or Marshall 2203 w/ od.

As a side note: after owning several Rev Blue Ubers... the new 2016 models do sound much better to me. Not sure what they changed, but they sound much better than any of the other previous model years I've owned/played.
