Bogner Uberschall sucks!

People on this forum can fart better tones than that...

That kid is probably all of 11. Not a bad player either, for his age. Not sure what went wrong for him in this particular clip :D, but some of his stuff is neat to watch. He has had some REALLY cool amps. :yes:
 
I am sure the Uber is a great amp but I have never heard a clip that sounds good up to this point. Does anyone have one that does the amp justice? I played one at a local store a few years ago and can't remember what I thought to save my life. I was in my Engl/VHT amp phase where tightness meant everything to me.

I've never heard a recording that sounds the way Uber sounds in person, but then I've never heard one where Herbert or VH4 sound when you are standing next to them either.

That said some clips on bogner's site are sounding good.
 
I absolutely love my Uber, it's my number one. That said it took me a few days to dial it in correctly, it's not as plug and play as some other amps. I imagine if I only played it in a store I'd walked out very underwhelmed. I have to agree that I've only heard a few clips I've really liked. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to making one :D

edit: yeah, a couple on the bogner site are killer.

I saw these guys live about 2 weeks ago and he's using an Uberschall - the way this recording sounds is EXACTLY how it sounded live - made me want one!!!!!
 
The 2 channel Bogner Uberschall is an amazing amp. You might be shocked to read this, but this Uberschall amplifier head has a set of controls like other amplifiers. This control panel allows an individual player to vary the amount of presence, treble, mid, bass, and gain.
By adjust any one of these control knobs you will hear a different tone come forth out of the speaker cabinet, "Yes! You have to hook it up to a speaker cabinet." If you turn down the mids, turn up the bass, you will get this amazing tone, played by your average R.T. member. :lol: :LOL:
I suggest the gain knob set to 12:00 and the bass at 11.00 for a nice fat, woody, tone.

Given your tastes/amp history, I don't think you would like an Uber just imo :)
 
I would have loved to have had that gear when I was that young, I bet he's having alot of fun with it :lol: :LOL:
