bogner xtc 100b san fran craigslist!!!!!

Looks like prices for these have come down since the 20th Aniversary is out. Awesome amps, giged with mine last night.

Great amps..the 100-B. I use to own one. The 20th XTC covers most of the tones..minus the Variac. I prefer the EL-34 version..it's closest to the 100-B in my opinion. That 100-B is worth 2500.00. Considering theres only like a 150 out there.
 
You use to be able to assign cabinets to channels also as an option on the early XTC's.. Cabinet select. I never used it myself.
 
cant believe it is still for sale. although i live in bay area i have no clue where colusa is?
 
Hit the dude up. Ask him if he'll take 3 payments of whatever. Give him something as collateral. Bargain with him.

I bet most cats reading this ad are thinking it's a 101B and therefore, nothing special.

First, Colusa's not in the Bay Area, it's between Sacramento & Chico.
Second, I don't think it's a 100B but a white chassis 101B. Same Sharpie indicators as on my old one.
I had one for a short period of time. Nice low-mid gain tones, but the variac and cabinet switching options were short lived Bogner options.
Charley will tell you it's one of their mistakes. One of the reasons so few were made.

That is definately a 100B, I can see the "Air" switch, single input, variac and the back panel is the same as mine. The cab switcher was in the early 101bs', made around 94-95.
 
Definitely a 100b. I want it bad, but it's just too far for me to drive to get it, and these days I just can't justifying buying something that I've never played.

Yes, Bogner says they did not like these amps as much as the future productions so while they may very well be amazing amps It seems like they are more of a collectors piece then anything. The 20th xtc is suppose to be the 100b, 101b and classic with upgraded caps/electronics all in one amp. :worship:
 
Love my 20th Ecstasy. It makes my singer smile the tone is so good...the 100b is probably the next best thing from what I hear...

This is not my opinion. I prefer the 100b over the 20th. Comes down to personal taste I suppose, but you'd need to play both first to decide.
 
Guy raised the price up to $3000, $500 jump...he must of been reading rigtalk :lol: :LOL:

I have a 100B and a 20th XTC. (A & B models)

Through V30s I prefer the 20th.

The 100B sounds good through Greenbacks/Creambacks IMO

Overall the 20th is the better amp especially when you disengage all the options and play it as straight
through as you can. I can see why some like the 100B more, however, as I mentioned once you hear the 20th opened up you quickly change your mind.
