Bogner XTC 101B owners - Info on ~ 2016 model?

Hi all,

What was the color of a footswitch on a 2016 XTC101B models? The older models had a black color one but this model should have a grey multicolor one, right? Serial is 066xxx so it should be an 2016, right? Any specific to check out when testing?

I am pretty sure 2016 had the sparkly grey colored foot switch, however 066xxx doesn’t necessarily mean it was made in 2016, from what I understand they can go out of order or something like that - I’m also new to Bogner ownership so I’m not 100% sure. I dated mine by checking the cap date codes inside the chassis but you can email Bogner with the SN and they can tell you as well.

As far as testing, there’s a lot of switches to flip, and if I remember right the boosts for ch1 and ch2/3 have to be set to “off” on the front panel in order for the foot switch boost to work. It seems like on mine every switch has a pretty strong/noticeable effect on the sound. And the obvious stuff you’d check with any amp, that all 3 channels work and that the tone feels full for the given channel. I was surprised how high gain the red channel can get - I’m loving the hell out of mine (got it just earlier this month). Enjoy!
