Connor Baldacci started winding pickups years ago...he made a mean Alnico II PAF clone. Then he decided to start building guitars...and now his company, Baldacci Guitars is really taking off! His BIGHORN guitars are being played by many touring, professional musicians. The BIGHORN is offered in solid, semi hollow and full hollow. His guitars have also been featured in GUITAR WORLD magazine. Connor just introduced a new line of bolt-on Bighorns too.

I just picked up this semi-hollow Bighorn from Connor late last week. I've played his solid body Bighorns...they are very very nice guitars! I had a chance to try one of his semi hollow Bighorns, so i jumped on it!!!

2022 Baldacci Bighorn Semi-hollow.

Handmade in Mesa, Arizona!

One-piece mahogany semi hollow body
One-piece mahogany neck
Book matched carved maple top
Rosewood fretboard and headstock overlay
Baldacci Alnico V pickups
MANMADE USA tremolo
Locking tuners.

Baldacci's standard neck carve is a medium 50s carve. Its a very comfortable neck in the hand. Not a full 50s, like a R8...more like a R0 on steroids. His standard electronics layout features a master vol, master tone, neck pickup coil split mini and a 3 way toggle. The pickups are very snappy with great sparkle. It sets up with a great medium/low action. The MANMADE tremolo is steady and hold tune great (i have it decked)

A great playing guitar that has a great feel and balance. Connor is a great guy and always aims to please his patrons. Check out his stuff at Baldacciguitars.com

Very cool! Usually that colored burst looks like shit. Yours has a really smooth transition from red to orange that is very eye pleasing. The maple top has an interesting grain pattern for not being flamed or quilted.

Agreed, usually end up with a clown top
