As much of a boost addict as I am, I have yet to try an OCD after all these years. It's still on the bucket list though. How do you like it as a boost compared to the sd1?

The OCD is a fuller sounding boost and allows more low end through than the SD-1.
Watch what version of the OCD you get, the v4 sounds great as a stand alone distortion but not as good as a boost (for how I use it) as the ones that came after, v6 and v7.
Not sure how the v1,v2, or v3 sounds as a boost.
There's so many versions of it, lol.
