What are you trying to say? :gethim:
I'm just messing with you.

But really, it is just a matter of time before the mids become weird.

Definitely no weird mids in that clip. Sounded great! Boogie's best offering in years IMO.

Very cool clip!

I'm really surprised at how good the delay sounds in front of the amp.

sweet, nice clippage from both you dudes.

dan, can you coax those type of tones out of a Mk 2c? I can get in the ballpark with my quad and if i set my 395 to class A.

The Ed really sounds different than the Mark series. The tone in the room is a lot better in the room than from my little camcorder. The Mark series amps do have more gain and are better at low volumes but for hard rock crunchy stuff I'd take the Ed every time. For Dream Theater or Metallica I'd take a Mark series amp.

Nice! The little camcorder actually grabbed that quite well...
The vintage low setting is definitely more open, big and ballsy.

Playing is great, but the tone is kinda boxy? I hear the same with Dan's clip as well :aww: Could it be the cameras?

Maybe, the thought of a boxy tone never enters my mind when i hear it in the room. But it's still a combo, although I'm pushing 3 speakers in my video. To get the best from these amps they need some volume. They're ok low, just ok. But i use boost pedals and raise the treble and presence when i need to be low. They're not what I'd call metal amps but i love them for hard rock. I'll bring it along the next time we hang out.

Some say the Electra Dyne sounds similar to an Orange...I hear it sounding like a Marshall JCM 800 had sex with an AC30 and this is the offspring. The clean channel definitely has a Vox mid character going on with it, more-so than a Fender to my ears.

I guess I have to be in the room. I know you know tone, so if you say it sounds good then  I need to go to GC and test one out.

Bring an OD pedal with you as you won't find the stock gain to your liking. But I'm listening back to clips i made with this, the Cali mod, Lonestar, mark III, and with different cabs, and they all sound similiar. Conclusion.....I'd rather make audio clips since i have recording gear and the video camcorder was not designed to capture audio that great.

All of your video clips kinda sound similiar to me as well, the Camerons, Blackstar, that little micro amp, 5150, but you're using the same camera for them all right?

thanks...I like it lots..

This was lower volume, was about at turned up stereo volume...I may try a cranked up clip without chorus.

Excellent point. Daves vid clips do have a similarity to them that I would attribute to the camera. All of my own vid clips tend to sound very similar as well. Even with different speakers... :(

that or we're all just chasing our own tails too much and should just play and enjoy what we have more

Excellent clips guys  Really liked the tone of the first one. Again, most likely because it was an audio clip.
