I'd like to use GT-Pro as my MFX processor with my tube stack amp, so how should I hook it up? I don't need the amp modeling, OD/DS fx's etc. gain effects from the GT-Pro, and I don't want to use 4 cable method. If I have to, it's my last option.
Tube stack head has a series fx loop, and main output in GT-Pro is set to stack amp.
I tried to put the GT-Pro into it following way
guitar > amp input > amp fx send > GT-Pro rear input jack > GT-Pro main out (L) > amp fx return
This is causing problems, because the GT-Pro peak led flickers even with the input level set to minimum. The effects send from the amp is too hot. So this setup is rejected.
Should I do the the setup like this (front of amp)
guitar > GT-Pro input jack > GT-Pro main out (L) > amp input ?
...or would this work better...
guitar > amp input > amp fx send - > GT-Pro loop 1/2 return > GT-Pro main out (L) > amp fx return ?
Second option gives possibility have all the GT-Pro's fx's in the amp loop, but will it work?
Thanks for replys in advance!
