Boss Waza amp ... anyone played it ?

Katana just isn't price ... that lil fucker rips , its loud as hell, tight not fizzy, the editor really let's you set it up very well, deeper editing makes the amp shine even more. Night after night on stage it delivers, quick set up w their little pedal board, a lot of metal players ( not all) use very little patches, making this excellent for that aspect. Also beats dragging an 80 lb head n 2ton rack around. But play it through a great 4x12 w v30s it just rips.

It's a great backup, and if you'd rather leave your expensive tube amp at home it will do just fine at a show. When I had one I liked my tube amps better but damn it sounded really good, and for the price and features it's a no brainer.

I have some pretty nice amps and I completely love the tone of the katana. I've only gotten compliments on it from anyone that's heard it. No it doesn't replace my amps but it's the ultimate backup amp. If my head has something go down, it's a backup amp. If the cab has an issue, it's also got the little built in speaker. The head is the best thing you could buy for $300 hands down in my opinion.

My guitarist only uses katana when we tour. He said fuck dragging all that gear n heavy heads. That katana rips night after night. Clean dirty lead and fix. No one ever said to him well wtf alex it's not a 3000 dollar tube head !

Now learning through the years a lot of the bullshit is in our heads or other ppl posts.

Yes sir. The game has certainly changed, especially over the last few years.

I still appreciate a good quality air moving valve head, but the tone can most definitely be achieved now at a much cheaper and practical alternative.
