So I've had a day with this wonderful beast and I've tried it through my 74 Super Lead 100, Two Rock Emerald Pro and my Runt 50,
I noticed in the Runt 50 I can barely turn up the clean channel without it sounding distorted and in the Namm clips he had the gain channel dimed which pretty much overloads the input signal peak light when I try that.
Now I haven't plugged it in to my computer and done any updates or adjusted internal levels for this if there are any.
I'm waiting on a longer USB cable, but the clean channel sounds way better than what I'm getting.
Do I have to adjust the input levels for the clean channel in the software?

Ok, so please somebody share the “suggestion” that was given to get better clean channel sound with the TAE. I’m trying to get my Ch1 cleans of my BE100 to sound better. How did you do it?

The suggestion is in the first and second post man.

Do I have to adjust the input levels for the clean channel in the software?

Answer: YES

There is a lot you can do in the software. Select you IR or cab that you want....then go into the EQ section where you can use either the Parametric or Graphic and go from there.

What are you setting the resonance at on the TAE?

I’ve been setting my TAE for Res-Z= L-Mid and Pres-Z H-Mid. Pretty balanced sound with those settings, but I think for cleans it’s better to have less highs so it stays cleaner without any distortion on the high-end.
