Thanks for posting the concert link. Great performance. Probably one of the more even performances I have heard from them since the 2000's.

Oddly enough, I love all of the non-distortion rockmodules. This concert affirms why. Such an even mix of guitar tone but the phased chorus and squashed to the max guitar tone is what ruins it for me.

The Rockman Stereo Chorus doesn't seem to get the attention that the that the Stereo Echo does, but it's a very nice unit. A big improvement on the Rockman Stereo Chorus / Delay.

No, your not the only one. But, ya know, that's pretty much his tone and it worked in those old recordings pretty well. In some ways there is no such thing as bad tone, it's all apart of the tactile feel of a final mix. Just listen to the opening guitar tone in Reelin in the years by Steely Dan, it's horrible, but it works! I think people have just forgotten about the big picture and how the guitar fits in.

Yeah, very true, I definitely agree. It's obviously *his* sound, I just think you could get the exact same results with a lot less gear, but I suppose he's a very technically-minded "tweaker" and likes all his gadgets etc...!
