An Orville. A LPC, made in 1996, light weighted custom (like the Edwards), the neck is a bit slimmer than the Edwards' neck, not a "slim taper" though. Frets are down a bit, but still ok. Pickups are japanese VH1, not bad, like PAFs output wise.
I will replace the whole hardware to chrome stuff (just did that with my Edwards too) and already changed the bridge pickup to a Duncan SH6.
The axe screams, really nice stuff. If you are looking for a reasonable priced Les Paul I'd consider Edwards and Orville. Orville by Gibson has the advantage of Gibson pickups. Craftmanship on both, O and ObG is outstanding. All have a long tenon . . . Some ObG LPCs have ebony fretboards though . . . If you should want further info about Orville and ObG - Wikipedia sums it up nicely.
The only thing I don't like too much is the fact that she has a rosewood fretboard, I like ebony a bit better, but its ok - I will use some shoe polish to darken it
Here's a pic
