My wife bought me the Brace DWG-1000x for Valentines day cuz she is cool. Anyway, Mark Briody (Jag Panzer) recommended them to me.

Made in the USA.
Really light but sturdy construction.
No tonal loss that I can perceive. I am really anal about that too.
Runs on two "AA" batteries per unit or with power supply for receiver unit.
Seems to have a really long range without dropping out or signal loss.
Comes with instrument cable 1/4 to /1/8 that plugs into the sending unit. That is cool because you are not forced to use their cable. Or if it gets damaged you could swap it out real quick.

If anyone was on the fence about them give them a shot. Very pleased so far.

I bought one of those before I bought my line 6 relay...I had major problems with it. Massive noise with my rig and I was told by the company that they were aware of the problems I was having but there was nothing they could do about it. I returned it. Glad it works for you!

I was going to pull the trigger on one of these myself a while back, but held off after Rich's feedback on the unit. What setup are you currently running this with?

I am running a Peters Hydra, Diezel Herbert and an Engl SE all thru an Egnater SS4 headswitcher. An ISP noisegate and I have a few pedals that I really don't use in the chain but are excluded from the chain by a Keeley looper box thingy  I guess it keeps the pedals from dirty n up the signal. So, the receiver is plugged into the keeley.

Not sure if that answers your question or not?
