Brad Paisley is bad ass!

I appreciate his playing too. Check out "Play: The Guitar Album". It's primarily instrumentals and generally pretty good stuff!
 
I'm not a country fan at all but I have all of Brad's records... Good Stuff!!!

Not much of a fan of country but you gotta admit the guy can play some serious guitar and he makes that z wreck sound amazing.
Would love to hear him play thru something like an uberschall, now that would be sweet, but don't think its gonna happen :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL:
 
I'm not a country music fan...but I have seen Brad Paisley in concert twice...can't stand most of his songs..lyrics too cheezy etc...but the guitar playing and tone within the cheezy songs is great ! I would go see him again....
 
Not a fan of country either but he is a teriffic guitar player. His blues is very awesone.
 
Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan. I'm a country fan in general though. Brad is one of the best in the business.

I saw this video a couple days ago. Found it inspiring. You can tell he truly loves music and what he says/does.

 
I'm a huge fan of Blankenship combos, but if I was going to stray ( or actually NEEDED another amp, lol) It would be a Z wreck for sure. Love that amp!

I'm in the same boat. I GAS for one but don't really have the need for it. Just the want.
 
Love his playing, its just so tasteful. I could listen to it for hours :rock:
 
WTF is going on here, a Paisley thread?? ITS ABOUT TIME :thumbsup: Def a showman, fantastic player who always has great tone,,must be something with those Zs. I have watched that first video about 100 times :lol: :LOL:

FINALLY a country/Paisley/DrZ Thread!!!!

Brad just oozes talent, it makes me want to puke how good he can play. He's absolutely my guitar hero of the moment.
 
He seems like a generally good guy too.

Him, thinking he was being arrested (although I think he may have had his suspicions that it was a setup):

i know this makes me sound really inflexible or one sided as a guitarist, but he's truly the ONLY non-rock/metal guitarist that ever inspired me to learn something out of my comfort zone.....and that was trying to do those fast, slick, snappy runs with some fingerpickin thrown in there....although i haven't quite mastered it at all, i REALLY love fucking around with it....

paying attention to brad's tone also really helped me me an attempt at reshaping my clean tone....if that makes any sense....
the dude's a fuckin MONSTER guitar player, a great song writer, and a damn good vocalist in a time of cookie cutter bullshit pop country....i can admire and appreciate him as a musician, guitarist and vocalist/songwriter.

back to the metal now....
