He seems like a generally good guy too.

Him, thinking he was being arrested (although I think he may have had his suspicions that it was a setup):

(what he's being charged with  )
You can be arrested for that,,its a crime,,,oh shit man I'm gonna get the chair for this

He did a tv special in new Orleans. Jammed in with some old blues jazz cats. He played in there with all of it. Really a great player and plays more than just what you hear on the radio. I would like to see a collaboration of him and Andy Wood. That would be epic!!

I caught the Brad Paisley bug a couple years back. Got myself a Dr Z StangRay and a new tele immediately - and I can't believe I still haven't pulled the trigger on the Z-Wreck yet!

If you like Brad's style of playing, you really need to check out Doug Seven's collection of online lessons. www.SizzlingGuitarLicks.com There are plenty of good tutorials on various country styles, scales and picking techniques. Once you get some of this stuff under your fingers, you'll find it amazingly applicable to all styles of music. Beware, it's addictive...

Dude, Teles rock! I just got an AV '62 Fender "Thin Skin" from Wildwood. Kicks all tons of ass! I love it as much (possibly more, will confirm after the honeymoon) as my Strat!

Love Paisley. His tone, playing, the fact that he doesn't take himself so seriously. His book is an awesome easy read if anyone is interested in how he became the player he is. Seems like a super nice guy too.

He brings the goods live and on records. What more can you say? He's one of the best players living today. Even if you don't like country music, thats pretty easy to recognize.
