I just looked at the back of the block and it has the number 34 on it.
I measured it in inches and its......... 1 and 5/16 inches.
I tried to convert it to the MM......but I keep coming up with weird numbers....
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!!
what is it in MM?
The sizes offered are 32 mm 37mm and 42 mm....

You're @ 33mm Bro...

The Idea is to go BIGGER.... So 37mm MIN I went for the 42mm L block... But you will have to CUT WOOD!

I have put brass blocks on all my Jacksons and Charvels. They all were 32's. 2 DK1's, 1 SL2, and 2 Charvel 475's. I guess you could go bigger but i am not willing to route out my guitars incase I have to resell, people get wierd about that shit. I would be safe and go 32 but it is your guitar, so do what you want. :)

Aw fuck, I will go take a pic a show you the difference between the stock 32 and the brass 32 just so you can see the mass your replacing to begin with. be right back.

Cool you put the back stop in too... I did that on my BC Rich Gunslinger cause I put a D-Tuna on it

Don't worry Dan... If you have to Route and don't want to do it... Send it to me, I will do a perfect job on it, and even match the paint... No one WOOD ever Know

Man I really love the stop piece. Seems as though my guitars are always in tune.

In the past i was interested buying one..to install is quite simple..but are money and work well spent? :scared:

I find titanium and tungsten blocks absurd..it's a guitar not a shuttle! :D

Its weird that my Block had 34 on it.
I had bridges in the past where the block was 'too short' and the springs ground into the body. Thats why I went with the 37. It should be fine. I am not a heavy whammy user anyhow. 3mm extra isnt going to hang out the bottom. I think its the same thickness as the 42's and 32's from what I read on the sellers description.
shit....$22.00 isnt bad for that Block upgrade.

Cant wait to check it out! ;)

What store did you go through? I went with floydupgrades and I was pleased with the service and material. It definitely sounds better to my ears. I put a 32mm in my KV2 and I don't think I could have gone bigger with the action I'm set to.

I put the brass one from floydroseupgrades in my Charvel last night. You can feel the difference, it rings louder and you can feel the body vibrate more. Better sustain also. It ain't gonna make a bad sounding guitar sound good but can help boost up an already good guitar. All in all, it was worth it, I don't think I'd spend the dough for a titanium one though!

you should also try the brass claw and noisless springs, even try the esp arming adjuster

Does it give you more bottom end?

Anyone knows where to buy it and other Original Floyd Rose parts in Europe?

I would say yes, the one I have made my guitar sound thicker, more full range.

floydupgrades ship to Europe as well.

Other parts should be available several places.

I found them on a Norwegian webshop, but it`s in Norwegian... :)

Ok,

just installed the Brass block.
37 mm in my custom Jackson.
I am SUPER PICKY about tone and I heard the difference RIGHT OFF THE BAT!

Much richer and less 'clangy' I guess.
Just sounds FULLER. Had to dial back the bass slightly on the amp. Came across sounding EXCELLENT!

Would recommend for anyone thinking of doing it. ;)
