Bridge Tom Anderson pickup similar in tone to a Suhr Aldrich

The HN3 would probably be as close as an Anderson will get to an Aldrich. I haven't heard the newer Anderson models, though. Of the ones I've heard (H2, H2+, H3, H3+, HN3) the Suhr pickups are more natural and familiar sounding than the Andersons. I'd swap them around in the guitars to get a better idea of what each one is really doing in each guitar. It can only help with your decision.

I found Anderson pickups to be smoother sounding, more compressed, but with more beef and lowend than Suhr pickups. Suhr pickups sound brighter, more clear, more snap.

Depends on what your idea of good is. For Van Halen I'd pick a Suhr. For thicker sounding tones I'd pick an Anderson.

Between the 2 companies, I found the pickups are the biggest difference.

These are exactly my findings as well. Very different pickups.

I have an H2+ in the bridge of my Anderson Cobra S (mahog body / maple cap). I've tried other pickups in it, including other Andersons, but I kept coming back to the H2+.

I have the Aldrich bridge in a Suhr Standard (basswood / maple) and a LP Custom. In the Suhr, it's exactly like danyeo states. Bright, clear and snappy. For my tastes, I'd normally equate that to bad, but not with the Aldrich. Lots of mojo in that pickup. In the LP, it's slightly darker with more body as you'd expect, but it's a perfect match.

I thought about trying an Aldrich in my Anderson, but I like having a different tonal option, and love the H2+ for what it is.

I have only tried the Anderson H1-, H2+ and H3 and I don't think any sound like the Aldrich. The H3 sounds very agressive and hot to my ears in a strat. I haven't tried an Aldrich in a strat, but in my Les Pauls it sounds sweeter than the H3 or H2+.
