Brown Eye vs. Marsha: Boost function

Hi Dave;

I know the Brown does not specifically have a foot switchable boost.

I may be wrong but didn't the Marsha have that?

So then, what's behind the thought of having dropped that function If that's correct? It seems like it must have been a useful feature, was it problematic or tone sucking?

Is it possible to have that added to a Brown Eye? Advisable?

Is it a future coming feature?

Thanks for the insight.

You may be talking about the second master. An added, footswichable master volume and gain.

Thanks :thumbsup: , this is what I am referring to. Is it still possible/advisable on the newer Brown Eye? If so has anyone tried it? I played a BE last week, and am seriously considering one. It certainly rolls on/off nicely, but I still find this feature useful unless there are significant tone negatives. Some posts I've searched/researched seem to imply that using a clean boost to achieve this results more so in increased saturation rather than a desired significant lead volume bump.

I am trying not to do custom options because it messes up production for me. What you could do is put a pedal in the loop. Maybe a eq pedal. It could give you the boost and tone shaping.
