real hard to hear the amp there? shame cause that style is a real test for it.
IF it does hardcore it has some serious aggression to it.

But I'll tell you, it has some gain to it. Didn't even boost it. Less gain that modern amps but I like that for clarity. The bottom end isn't huge but I'll let the bass player handle that

Yeah i dont want too much gain either, i just sold two EVH amps for that reason
plus there was something in the voicing of the gain i hated!
I am not worried about the pleximan having enough gain on tap but how it will sound
at almost TV volumes?
My marshall JVM 1 was fine for that but that was only one watt
should have just kept that

I use one at church with an iso cab. It's a great little amp! Tons of gain!
