Alright guys... You are always full of helpful suggestions so I thought while I continue to browse Reverb and GC Used for any glimmer of something cool/useful for what I am trying to do SO...

I am looking for a cheap-ish closed back 212, preferably with V30s though I am open to other suggestions as I already have 4x12 cabs with them.

Trying to stay on the lower end of pricing so not to interfere with house projects ongoing. I only have 2 requirements. NO MDF cabs and must be Black Tolex.

Looking for something to pair up with my late fathers Carvin V3 because I actually really enjoy the amp (more than I thought I would honestly), just don't have room for another 4x12 and my other heads have their own dedicated cabinets at the moment so I would like this one to as well.

Appreciate any guidance. Never been a 2x12 guy but the older I get the more I see the value in having one around. At least for the sake of my back lol

The EVH you can get for a good price and they come with the 70th Anniversary speakers which I don't mind. But for a couple hundred dollars more you could find a good deal on a Bogner 2-12 and it will be so much better. I've never heard a 2-12 cabinet better than the Bogner!

Dave, if he is still working, was awesome to deal with. Helped with speaker choice too. We actually landed on a G12H30 and CL80 lol. Nice balance and gave different recording options. I ended up trading that away for a Splawn 212 (not expensive) but is was a great cab. They have several styles and lots of tolex/piping options. They used to have their own rebranded Hellatone speaker line which were just broken in rebranded Celestions but cheaper.

I second Avatar. I used to have their version of the OS 2x12 and it was damn nice.

Maybe I'll just order a new Avatar. I have one of their bass cabinets and love it.

Harley Benton 2x12. Is it possible to buy in US on Thomann ? Older front loaded version with sealed back is comparable to every top shelf cabinet. Newer rearloaded is good too but depends on how tight is put together patricular one :) I prefer Benton with Scumbacks over Bogner with V30. Oversized Bogner is 3/4 of 4x12 but nowhere as good soundwise.
