Jesse Plemons plays a conspiracy obsessed wack job who convinced his retarded cousin to help kidnap the female CEO of a major corporation (played by Emma Stone) because he believes she is an alien. It's a thriller. They shave her head and cover her in antihistamine cream to keep her from contacting her mothership while she's trying to figure out her situation. Stavros Halkias plays the cop that shows up, and that's great too. It's a hoot. The flat Earth cut scenes had me in stitches, but I just think that stuff is funny to begin with.
The director did Poor Things, Killing of a Sacred Deer, The Lobster, and The Favourite. Weird movies are kind of his thing. Definitely go see it in theaters.
