Building some prototype plectrums... (pics)

Hello everybody!

Thought you might appreciate watching me build some 'internal logo' prototype plectrums, here is how

Here I am using some very hard grade of locally built cast acrylic for the job, the extruded acrylic sheets that you find down at your local hardware store will not work because they will not only melt like chewing gum but scratch very easy and have a very limited life as a pick...

This took me almost 3 hours to build those 6 picks, enjoy

I recently started using acrylic picks, they are working great so far.

Yes, I mostly sell picks but I can not post any links which is normal (forum rules) and also because I posted this topic only to share some cool pictures to show you guys how I build my picks, kinda like an informative topic

Here are some new prototype ones I've built using the same technique, these are thicker 6mm:

more and more players (myself included) prefer thicker plectrums...

Gypsy jazz guitarists for exemple favor very thick picks...

The thickest one I build is actually 13mm thick

And one for me as well? I dig the green ones man, and I'm always looking out for new guys building acrylics.

I've had good luck so far with V-Picks and Gravity and I'd give yours a shot too.
