Busted Water Pipe In My Jam Room

I had a water pipe bust today. Right in the middle of the studio jam room. It just missed the drums and my rigs. I was supposed to be recording tomorrow, but I think I'll have more cleaning to do.

Not as bad as the flood of aught 3 so I consider myself pretty lucky.

Yowsers! I had a washing machine go out on me and dumped a whole load of water on a HR50 head in the basement below. The head wasn't plugged in so I took it apart, dried it ad it worked fine the next day. That's Soldano craftsmanship. You did luck out with it not hitting any gear tho.

Yes, I consider myself very lucky. No gear was damaged. Drum cover got a few drops on it, but it's a cover.

I will definitely miss that carpet though. We took it from our rehearsal space when we left (were there 10 years). It had all our old band's keyboard patches written on it. I even used it as the backdrop for a pick for the cover of my first instrumental disc.

Nope. No bong here. That would have been a faster cleanup...but would probably stink a little longer.

Sucks but it coulda been worse. I remember seeing a former bandmates 64 es 335 and 68 tele floating in the water when his pump failed in his studio.
