HOLY CRAP. This pedal brings the goods, and then some. It really enhances what you have, adding some oomph and attitude. I run the EQ mode, and find it a huge bonus. It's really killer, as you can boost the lows a bit, yet fine-tune it with the tight knob. In a nut-shell, it's clean, warm, and tight - never grainy, harsh, thin, or gritty. It's cleaner than the Savage Drive, yet as aggressive, and the tight knob executes better.

I've been through a gazillion boost pedals, and I gotta say, this one's the shit. My Splawn never sounded more angry, and angry makes me a happy camper. KT77's and the Buxom Boost make the Quick Rod absolutely insane. Couldn't be happier. I can't imagine it not being as killer with ANY amp!

Agreed. I’m surprised it doesn’t get talked about more often on here. I’ve had close to 100 different pedals over the years for boosting my amps and the Buxom Boost is one of my 9 keepers along with the Golden Pearl, which is also great. None of his amps or modded Marshall’s were keepers for me, but those 2 pedals have been

Both my Nitro and my Quick Rod loved the Buxom Boost. It's almost like that pedal was made for Splawn amps.

Yup... Like I said I don't touch my Keeley Red dirt anymore. The BB is the shit.

I love my Savage Drive but all the praise for the Buxom has me ready to check it out.

You do. There's deals out there. I got mine on a sale for $152.

I had one and I much preferred the golden pearl on the plexi channel of my small box. Could see liking the buxom boost with a dual Rec.

I had one for a while. Moved it when I was rolling through OD's to try and compete with the Koko. Would buy one again to have around.

My Friedman BE100 and Splawn Quickrod love the Buxom Boost pedal. I just dialed a drive block on my Fractal FX8 to be exact as the Buxom Boost.

Just got mine yesterday. Great boost. Use it with my Mk4 and Splawn streetrod. It just adds to the sound, as transparent as you want it to be . Best boost I’ve ever had.

This pedal really is genius. The more I use it the more I like it. The problem I always had with boosts is while they tighten up the sound and can add saturation, if you want more saturation but want to dial some sag back in the sound can’t do it. The buxom on the otherhand has the tighten control which allows you to do just that, as tight or loose as you please. Pedal just becomes a natural extension of the amp you are playing thru.

I’ve had mine for like 8 months... never tried it. Suppose I should dig it out.

If 311 is gassing over something splawn related I should be too. Lol.

311 check your PM's in the next hour.

Agreed

Can anyone compare the Buxom Boost to the MXR Custom Badass OD? The MXR is the only boost I've owned, and I really dig the 100hz knob for bringing back in some of the lows. Also enjoy the bump button for adding low mids. Basically I want to add saturation with a boost, but not necessarily make the amp surgically tight at the same time.

Will the bass control + tight knob on the Buxom make it the ultimate boost for my needs? Cheers!

I think the buxom will do exactly that for you...
