Buy the Cherry Bomb

What I meant in earlier post is that having a guy like pete thorn or Doug rappaport do a demo would be cool to hear how the other amps like the pwe horizon and Friedman be (being they already made demo's with said amps) stack up against the cherry bomb, not to mention that they always seem to bring out the best in gear which in the end will sell more amps. I am going to go to the website now to check out the other cherry bomb clips. The fat that the cherry bomb has the 3 way sat switches over each master and solo boost knob is really a cool and useable feature.

I want to use something more than a cellphone to capture the tone of this amp in a video review.

What you guys are curious about, what the amp is capable of doing (going from clean in plex to solo), are things that I'd love to demonstrate.

If Rig-Talk members wouldn't mind, I can upload a "regular-quality" video review going through the different settings and configurations available and how I use them in my own playing and songwriting.

Please do do, why not done already?

Not to go too against the grain here but demo videos from Pete Thorn and Ola Englund and a few others don't do anything for me anymore in terms of deciding if I want a product. This is because these guys are such talented players and writers and recording engineers that they make every single product sound incredible. Sure Pete's demo of the Suhr SL68 sounds sick. So does his demo of the Boss Power Stack. He makes the Power Stack sound better than most peoples boutique amps sound.

Watch Ola Englunds demo for the Peavey Vypyr 15 modeling amp. It sounds better than the tone on many pro metal albums. I still watch all their videos but I have gotten to the point that I know their videos will make me GAS for each and every item they showcase.

Yeah, I have to agree with this. These guys could make one of those old Memphis Les paul copies w/the crappy pickups and one of those little cigarette pack amps sound good. That goes for you too Curt. And, Steve's no slouch either.

Don't get me wrong, I like the demo's but they can be misleading to us mere mortals. Now, I do find them more useful when there are several amps like Ola's shootouts. But to get an idea what an is really going to sound like when I play it....nah. Plus, those guys have the production thing down too, which influences the sound.
