What's with buyers these days? I swear, if I get any feedback on one of 6 transactions, it's a miracle.

I sold 4 pedals on TGP in the past month. Leave positive feedback as soon as I ship, and not one person receiving the items left feedback.

Recently, I shipped another pedal, and the guy emailed me to say he got it. I hadn't left feedback yet, but did immediately, sent him a link, and he left nothing. I suppose some can't figure out how to do it, but it's the same on Reverb. Last half-dozen transactions or so, maybe 2 left any feedback.

So, is it that people can't be bothered for 5 minutes?? Is it really THAT much trouble?

Yup - 90% of people are dicks!

I agree I always leave feedback too.

ive bought/sold/traded a handful of things from RT members and got nada.

done a handful of deals on reverb..but got good feedback on all transactions (it did take one guy like 6 months to get around to it, but he left me props)

Had several sell deals on Ebay where i got the cold shoulder

it happens.

I do but as a seller I never leave feedback until the item has been delivered and the deal is confirmed done. I left feedback after I shipped once and it was a nightmare of shenanigans after that. Reverb did let me retract that feedback.

I could see that, and I have waited on certain items as well, (typically higher-end stuff).

That happens to me on EGAY all the time, I used to care when I was new and trying to build up positive feedback nowdays I don't But I always leave feedback because I try not to be an inconsiderate prick.

I got neutral feedback on eBay once for a MIM Strat I sold. I had agreed to discuss it by phone when I got home from a business trip the next day. By then he had left feedback that read, "Item as described, but not as expected." WTF?

Made him look worse than it did me.

WOW.. What a dick!

On Reverb I always leave feedback. As a seller I always wait until after my return period is over just in case. But I haven't bought or sold a ton on there so building the good feedback is important. I've had eBay since late 90's, maybe early 2000 and after several hundred feedback, I stopped caring about it.

I have not left feedback on RT for a long time, just didn't think about it. Seem to know most all the names on here, but probably should go back and do it. I
t seems like people get called out if anything goes wrong with any part of a transaction on here anyway, so I think we keep ourselves in check pretty good.

You know what bugs me? Leaving feedback for sellers who don't return the favor.

;)

I suppose you caught me red-handed there! The problem here, is there's no notification that somebody left it.

My apologies on that one. I just went and looked and replied. So sorry, wasn't intentional or laziness.

I find that Reverber's are much more considerate than the eBay ass holes. I have had maybe 10 to 15 people on reverb not give feedback, but on ebay....forget about it.

Just giving you shit man.

Here's to many more great transactions!

:cheers2:

Just to cover my ass, in case any of you guys have bought/sold with me, I always leave eBay feedback in batches unless someone specifically reminds me. I always do it, but I can go months without getting around to it. Ditto for TGP, but I'm not sure I even noticed there was a feedback option here. Just snagged a coveted pink EBMM EVH on eBay and the seller and I chatted so much, we're now FB friends. Another eBay seller who's local to me is now my go-to guy for when I need parts real fast. He leaves them in his mailbox for me and I drive over and leave him an envelope of cash. I usually have pretty good relations with buyers and sellers.

Same here. My feedback count would easily be doubled if I got all the deserved feedback.

Ebay & Reverb send you an email when feedback is left. I really dig TGP's feedback system too, which also notifies you when feedback is left. But, some can't figure out how to use it.

I wish they'd step it up here, with some more modern features! This forum format is ancient!

I only sell on reverb now and it seems like nobody leaves any. I went through a rough spot and dumped a ton of gear. Think I could get positive feedback on a custom Jackson I dumped for 1200? Nope. Guy sold it the next week for a grand more. Some people just suck

I find there are actual REAL problems in life, so I try not to get worked up about the trivial shit.

Just an observation, I think it's safe to assume nobody's losing sleep over it.

Judging by the responses here, I'm not so sure about that...
