No shit, I'm starting to think if I do this I'll just not post the clips and wait for this thread to sink in the sunset. :) I've actually thought about just using my Zoom to record the 'room sound' only, with no close miking so placement won't be a factor.

Why is anyone worried about eq tweaks on a 72 Superlead?!?! Just set the Zoom a few feet in front of the cab and call it done.

You could do 2 sets of clips - 1 set where the settings are the same for each one, and another set where you tweak the amp to where each cab sounds best. Wouldnt' take that much more time since you'll already have the mic on the cab's.
