Hi guys

My first pedalboard building experience was a little difficult :) I had no problems usually but wiring part was really tough.

I'm using Templeaudio pedalboard, and I have a pedal switcher. Installing the patch cables ( L style, 15/30 cm fender & Kirlin) to the send&return inputs to the pedal switcher is incredibly tough due to the small holes in templeaudio pedalboard. The cables are not easy to bend from input location, as you'll see in the photo below.

It actually works, and if a cable error happens, It's easy to remove and install a new one. The only buttons I press are the ones on the pedalswichers, wah and the volume so there's no problem. But it could have been better from the looks point of view.

So, is there a cable that you can suggest for me, which is easily bendable, but also has a quality? I'ld really appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks in advance..

George L or Lava Tightropes for me. Love them Rewiring my board this weekend with the Lava's.

Lava is good but if u have a problem then good luck. Mark Stoddard is an asshole. They still won't fix my order that they goofed. I use BTPA now. Cheaper better.

George L's are great, but use an exacto knife and take care to cut them straight. If you do a sloppy job, you'll get nothing but noise and drop outs.

Really?? Jesus man, I've had nothing but top-notch service from that guy in addition to going above and beyond with his support, recommendations, value added purchases, etc. Sure he's a fan of his own wares, but rightfully so - was nothing but perfectly professional and totally amped whenever I'd done business with him.

:dunno:

Lava for the win; GeorgeL for the most used.

I ordered several cables. I used the drop down menu and selected the lengths I wanted. They sent cables but not one was measured correctly. Some as much as 6 inches too long. Mark responded to my complaint saying, 6" is within spec. I said, "why offer cables by the inch (26,27,28,29,etc)if your not going to stick to those measuments?" I said I wanted to return them and get the cables I ordered amd paid for. I get no response for months, while I'm sending a message about once a week. I finally got fed up and told him" nice business model and customer support". He instantly got back to me and told me if I can't deal with their methods, I need to fuck off and they don't want my business. This is AFTER they took my money. Fuck you Mark Stoddard, you fat asshole!
BTPA delivered precise cables that measure less capacitance with the same plugs as Lava uses for cheaper. You can choose the type of cabling as well.

Is this story 100% for real?

Are you leaving any part of your interaction with Mark Stoddard out?

If not then fuck them for treating a customer like that! 6" is not within spec gat damn it! 6" is a whole other patch cable length!

Btw, BTPA has 1/4" tolerance in their cables,as shown on their website.

I would look for cables made with mogami w2319. It's has a small diameter and is quite flexible.
