Hopefully this can help someone having a similar problem:
I was having alot of trouble with my MXR custom audio wah running it on the high gain (red) channel on my 5150 III, alot of high end feedback - high end, high gain, and volume related - when kicked on during solos - suspect alot of users here might run into a similar problem
solution: modify both the inductors to sweep less high end and run it on channel 2 (lower gain) of amp, but also kick in the gain /boost (I set it about 3/4 and modify from there) from the CAE
With the boost on - now the wah sounds like it has the gain of channel 3 but without the annoying feedback
For clean stuff I can leave the boost switch off, really dig this CAE wah - I find it very dynamic with many options
hope that helps
