My heart goes out to those affected. We had fires here and it wasn't the government's fault. Huge fires this year in many states and provinces. Not the government's fault in any case.
Climate change is real and is warming and drying the forests in Western North America. Couple that with fire suppression for decades which allowed fuel to build up. Fires are going to happen and they will be harder to stop than any we've seen before.
It happens every year now. Our wildfire fighters encounter fire behaviour they've never seen before.

I struggle to understand people whose entire existence revolves around ranting on topics they aren’t connected to or have any ability to
