So let's say I have a 3x12 cab. If 2 of the speakers are 50watts each, at 16ohms each in series, giving me an 8 ohm load, and the 3rd speaker was 100watts, 8 ohms, and wired in parallel to the other two speakers, I should end up with a total of a 16ohm load if my math is correct.

Here's the deal.... is there any reason this shouldn't sound right, or that it should have any major issues if the speakers have a similar sensitivity? I understand that half the power would go to the single 8ohm speaker, and the other half would go to the two 16ohm speakers in series. But being that the two speakers in series are 50 watts, and the other is 100 watts, they should be getting pushed about the same yes?

Also, as far as sensitivity rating goes, is it the higher the number the more sensitive it is, or more efficient etc?

Help! I'm getting ready to cut circles, and I wanna make sure I'm not wasting a bunch of expensive plywood. :aww:
