by "we", do you mean "you"? Exactly how many freqs are we talking about?

you come a gear forum to advertise talking about gear

yup, just expanding the community. Not trying to disrespect anyone or anything on RIG TALK.

well, we are a community of people that discuss all things involving TONE....

I hope none of those "FREQS" are named Tag or Billy Blades.

What would Tone Freqs offer me that I cant find already from trusted members on RigTalk? (Which is a multiple source, non profit* open forum)?

*ie members derive no financial gain from voluntarily offering informed opinion.

But can you help me with ideas for renovating my kitchen though?????

Huh? I don't get it? Two people in a forum joining a forum?

?

Yeah, nobody here has financial I interests in mind when they post...

And I'm not talking about Brad. He is the owner and therefore exempt.

Edit: just to be clear, I have no problem with anyone posting from a business prospective. Just don't be naive to the fact that it happens A LOT.

Phew! For a minute there I thought you had a mouse in your pocket.

I just went to the site and read the EVH Frankenstrat Humbucker review. It may be one of the worst and most mis-informed reviews that I've ever read. A couple comments from the "review":

The EVH Frankenstein pickup is designed to the exact specifications that were in Eddie Van Halen’s original Frankenstrat
The pickup in the original was Gibson PAF out of a 335...show me one that measures 14K.

no matter what I played or played it through, I still sounded like EVH. It still captures the brown sound, regardless if you want it or not
Really? Really??? So if I plug it into a clean Twin, a plexi Marshall, or a Diezel Herbert, I'll still be stuck with an EVH brown sound? Beyond moronic. Having played the pickup myself, that comment is not even remotely true.

Your site is sophomoric drivel...pathetic. I'd love to see the resumes of the reviewers...probably a "who's who" of pimple-faced Saturday afternoon Guitar Center warriors.

Hmmm... Looks like you guys scared them into editing out their link?
