What else ya got on the SS? Just a Marsha with certain options, or something new?

It's based on the BE, but much more aggressive. It also has a full clean, loop, etc. Just a great amp with so much tone!

sounds like my kinda amp ;)
I said it first....copy cat.

My apologies if this has been written in a thread somewhere else, but...

Does anybody know for sure if the Low Gain input on the Atomica routes the signal through a 100% all-tube circuit? I know the High Gain input has the Jose diode clipping, but what's the deal with the Low Gain?

The LG actually bypasses all the tubes and is strictly solid state.

Hi

What is that little thing above the Atomica?
The Small CCV?
I got to hear the Atomica and the little Cameron 18 watter today and they were both kick ass. Mark Day was there and before he plugged in the 18 watter, he told Bob Savage and I that it was funny. Then when Bionic Mark started playing through it I started laughing. I've never heard an 18 watter with EL84s that had that tight, throaty bottom end - definitely signature Cameron sound. Mark was like, "See... I told you it was funny!"

You can bypass both clipping circuits in the High Gain mode if you want. You can do that with both CCV channels as well...

That SS looks awesome! Love the vintage JTM offset vibe...

I know the SS amp probably sounds killer but man that thing
is ugly! He needs to design a shell that matches its sound.
(Bogner, Cameron,)

Agreed. Not digging the offset chassis.

I sort of like it. It's just like the old offset Marshalls. I liked the original, more "safe" looking plexi style Marshal headshell a bit more.

Nice. Wonder how much more aggressive? The BE has that bite to it, I'd like to know if the SS is more of that ripping style of gain with bite, or if it's a smoother type of gain.
