If i come across that way then maybe that's because I AM in touch with Mark and Chris VERY often, and I AM very familiar with the amps and in general. I try to pass whatever I can back and forth to them and to customers... I could potentially work for the company at some point, it has been discussed. Not sure if that will ever happen with my schedule and prior commitments. Mark and Chris are not able to be here all the time , so I do the best I can. I offered my services to Mark/Chris to be part of production / testing / burning in yes...Like i said , what is wrong with that? You know what I think it is ? I think you want to be that voice, because I know you and Mark and some local shop used to be in touch a lot more than you are now. All i can say is , that is not MY fault , and i don't deserve to get shit on... My intentions are good.

I will go on my way now and ignore your posts from now on because you've proven that your a childish and immature person, and I have no need for that in my life, I've spoken my mind and I know that I have done NOTHING wrong here.

ps - i did not delete that thread........Im not the only moderater you know....

Every Cameron thread eventually turns into people wanting to know why the amps never ship. It seems to be unavoidable.

Thats because Cameron makes some of the BESTamps out there. His mods are also top notch in tone. He is losing market share by not producing amps. Heck, I would by both a CCV and a CCM w/ matching cabinets if I could. :D

+1.....

If I could have actually gotten a CCV-100 and CCM-100 when I wanted one, I would probably have never tried to design and build my own amp. So... in a way, I credit Mark with getting me started in amp building... :)

I love his amps and mods, but I couldn't get one before I just decided to do it myself...

That's a really tough call.....love them all dearly, but I would have to say the CCV just by a tiny hair.

i cannot vouch for the cameron jose modded marshalls..but ive owned a cameron aldrich modded SLP..great great amp..but overall the CCV takes it..
with all the options/gain styles to the amp it just makes it so incredibly versatile..and the tone is just KILLER!!

After hearing my Aldrich modded Marshall in the same room as a Cameron amp, I wanted the modded Marshall more. Still, I really want both the CCV and CCM.

yep, i liked that Ocean that Todd has now more than the CCV now.but the CCV is still really cool, just not as Marshally.

thinking maybe i'm gonna be more of a CCM guy out his production amps?

They are all great in their own respective ways. It just comes down to what tones you dig. The HG Jose really sounds a lot like the old EVH tone and the Ocean has the Dio-Era Aldrich tone....

I do agree that the CCV is not just a Hot-Rodded Marshall....it really has it's own thing going on and is capable of so much more. I guess one of the reasons I love the CCV so much is because it just nails the Sykes Blue Murder tone that I love so much.....

So it sounds the CCV sounds more Boogie than Marshall?

I hear the tone CCV as being influenced by the best of both Marshall (Jose Plexi) and Boogie (IIC+) tones.....just IMHO. If your a Sykes fan....you will love the CCV.
