they all sound great, I think it would have been better with out the delay, imo

I typically don't use much delay, but I was playing through a cool patch I made that had a ton of delay and reverb....and I forgot to turn it off

Flight cancelled to North Hollywood.....

Not sure... they did invite Mark Day, and he tends to forget that too. :D

Thanks for the clip. I don't hear much of a difference except for the triode/pentode switch, but it does sound good.

Great video. I love the tone of the CCV
Great job! I prefer the pentode settings. It seems to have more girth and better low end.

Killer tones from our CCV authority!!!! Rock on Dave.
Can't wait to get mine. I'm counting the days!!! Seems Mr. Cameron built in a ton of tone shaping features in the CCV.
The CCV may not be the most versatile amp but it may have the most options for a modded Marshall voiced amp.
Only other amp that seems to have this level of options is the XTC's.

I was tinkering around with some Tyketto   and decided to take out the camera and record a demo clip. It came out okay I guess. I mainly did it to showcase the channel 2 voicing switch and pentode/triode switch.

Sounds killer Dave!!!

Ummm... errr... What's a pentode?

I'm not sure the new production CCV's have the pentode/triode option. Do not remember it being listed.
Maybe Brad could answer if it has this or not? Thanks

I am curious about this and the two way power switch for the different voltages or low/high power option. Both of these are really cool features that I hope are a part of the new production models.

It also adds stress to the tubes and tube life is shortened because the screen is having to handle excessive currents that it wasn't designed for, even with a screen resistor in line. I like the tone though :D

Damn I didn't realize that triode mode stresses the tubes more.

For some reason I though triode mode was less stressful on the tubes.

The more you know...
