Cameron CCV Ordering Update - 3/25/2011

Hey Guys,

I am getting tons on PMs asking about Cameron Amp ordering so I thought it best to post a general update here.

The Pre Production Prototype is being built now. They will be be checked by hand by Mark Cameron next week and certified ready for production.

I am flying back on March 15 to do the final test along with Mark, Dave Friedman and Rob. If all is good to go then I will open up the ordering for the first run of Cameron CCVs and Matching 4x12 cabinets.

Details:

The Cameron CCV head with have a new Mark Cameron designed FX loop as standard and will come with a Cameron Foot switch.

Price will be $3299 and have a lifetime warranty to the original owner.

Deposit with order will be $1000 and the balance of $2299 plus $75 shipping will be due when ready to ship. We expect a build time of 4-5 weeks per amp but may be able to deliver sooner than that if all goes well (Following the Under promise and over deliver mantra :thumbsup: ).

Our first run of CCVs will be 50 Heads.

Amps will ship in the order they were placed.

We also will be offering a matching 4x12 Straight Cabinet designed to be voiced for the CCV and loaded with Marks hand picked speaker of choice for the head the Celestion G12H 30 watt. This cab is made by the same folks in LA who make the Bogner cabs and are very high quality and voiced for the Cameron Heads.

Price on the 4x12 cab is $1099 plus $100 shipping.

We hope to open the ordering the week of March 21st and to start shipping late April 2011.

Unbelievable. A few years ago it seemed like Mark's knowledge of amps, etc. was gone forever. Great to see everything back on track.

Thanks, believe it or not I have had over 20 guys offer to send me money in the last 3 weeks for their CCV and Cab. That rules and I appreciate the confidence you guys have in me :thumbsup:.

Due to how that has been handled in the past I will not accept one dime until I know for a fact my initial run is under way and delivery times can 100% be met.

I am 99% sure now but no false starts and no headaches.

To the guys who paid before, Dont worry I got your back, just be patient as I cycle this first run and generate the dough to then hold back from Marks royalty and build your amps.

I realize you guys paid long ago and it is a bit of a kick in the nuts to have too get shuffled to the second run after all this time, but its better than the alternative and the only way I know how to fix things for you. My apologies that you will have to bear seeing the new orders deliver before you. :( .

I promise you going forward it will never go down like that again and hopefully you will love the CCV head when you do get it and on the next model run we come up with. I will make sure you guys have first in line priority to try to make it up to you.

We cant wait to get these to you guys, I am confident you will be blown away by the tones in this head!

All this hoopla has got me excited for the CCM! Do you happen to have any specs laying around for them Brad?

I can definantly respect what you're doing. It takes a lot of balls to take on a brand/person that has created some unsatisfactory situations with his mistakes and set out to set everything right. I applaud you for it! I hope you are able to do well and prosper from the relationship and only continue to grow your influence and standing in the musical gear industry.
 
CCM is waaaaaaay out. Probably not till next year this time.

Good, I can save my pennies! Midi w/three usable channels and no need for a boost to tighten it up and I'm liable to give you my first born.... :D

Very happy to see this come together for all involved, I know you are doing everything in your power to make this be up front in the middle of the biggest shitstorm I've ever seen on the web. Major props to you for being patient enough to see this through and maintain your integrity while doing so :yes:
At least those who were involved before have some light at the end of the tunnel even if they have to come a bit later. I'm sure they would rather have that than nothing :aww:
Not many amps around that would make me consider adding to my stable of Marshalls, but this is one for sure
I'm already plotting on how to do it :D :D

thank you for the kind words. its a team effort and I could not have pulled it off with out the help of Rob & Dave from Tone Merchants and Mark himself who I believe really wants to make things right and sees this as his best and last chance to do so.
 
I wish you guys all the luck in the world... All of you guys including Mark are great guys and deserve the best.

I wish I could afford one, but I'll have to wait till they hit the used market, and still have to save. :lol: :LOL: I'm just a poor white boy. ;) but the CCV is a dream amp for me, I WILL OWN ONE some day. :thumbsup:

Brother that was a thread from 4 years ago when Mark and his former partner Chris tried this. You see how well that went. ;)

Lol i feel retarded, never noticed the date! I gues it was recently bumped and I mistook it as current. :doh:

Good luck with everything Brad! The tone on that gain channel in the demo is amazing, if you guys can get production for these back on track and the new production models sound the same as that one I think you'll have a goldmine on your hands! :rock: :D

Glad to see this seems to be coming off. This is really the perfect setup to get Cameron's talent with amp design out and into people's hands. Good luck with it, I'll probably end up with one of these sooner or later.
