wow, good news! don't forget to put a voltage selector onto the back of the amp! ;)

This a good thing for everyone who wants one of these amps.Although it could be 50/50 on the allure of an amp that was unobtainable, now it will be openly available. Time will tell if the sasquautch sightings were the allure to own this amp. Otherwise it will turn into the flavor of the month/year. Good Luck

So is the new ccv coming with friedmans fx loop like those in the naked or marks loop? and what type loop is it?

The amp will come with an all new Mark Cameron designed FX loop. Of course Dave Friedman being a partner in this will have his input but Mark is building the loop himself. I am also wanting to put a Line Out on the amp but not sure if I will be able to for this model.

Brad,
Any way to get one of these for demo at the NY Amp Show in June??

I plan on being there with the new Cameron CCV, Friedman Marsha, Naked and Dirty Shirley and the new 2011 Diezel VH4 and Herbert MKII. Along with a stock Cameron Cab with G12H30's and a custom Cameron 4x12 Cab with Scumback M75/J75 combo.

Mark Day will be with me piloting the amps.

Our room will be rocking!

Awesome! Can't wait to hang with you guys!!!!!

I'm sorry, I just have to laugh every time I watch someone play 80's metal riffs, particularly anything from Dokken or Ratt. They all get that scrunched face/nodding head "fuuuuuuck yeah" thing going on. Those suspended chords are hell.

Man I need to delete that thread as it is confusing you guys. That Chris Schmidt post was from 4 years ago and someone bumped it as a walk down memory lane.

I actually spoke with Chris last night on the phone and he wished us well and was very gracious and offered to send me past client lists of people he refunded when they couldn't deliver the amps and any help we might need. Seemed like a good guy to me but for the record Chris has nothing to do with what I am doing here or Cameron Amplification any longer.

How can you NOT see that thread being 4 years old?

THAT is the confusing part.

I don't know much about the past with Cameron amps other than what I have read on the few threads the past few weeks. But I have heard the demo that Mark did with Brad and that was pure greatness! It's got one hell of a sound - marshall goodness! With all the other amps out there that are doing that kind of thing the price seems rather fair. If the old price was cheaper and there many problems with the amp then id be glad to pay more to make sure it doesnt happen again and if it does the lifetime warranty is there. I'd love to have one! maybe one day.

Just my 2 cents

I was lucky enough to play through one of the first CCVs made by MC, but held off on laying down deposit money to MC because of the continued uncertainty that the purchaser had to go through before he finally took delivery of the CCV in 2008.

I'm definitely interested in getting in on the production run, and I'm looking forward to hearing a clip of the new production model when it becomes available.

Brad, you should consider a transferrable lifetime warranty. It means a lot to stand behind your amp no matter who owns it. If something is wrong, it's wrong and needs to be corrected. Your tech will be able to discern if it's an operator issue or a manufacturing problem.

I apologize if this has been covered already, but I don't recall reading it anywhere.
Who is going to be handling warranty/repair work?
This is the only thing that has kept me from purchasing Mark's amps in the past.

I am pretty sure Tone Merchants/Dave Friedman are doing warranty work/repairs at their facility Barrang(sp?) is doing assembly.

Correct, all warranty work will be handled by Dave Friedman out of Tone Merchants in North Hollywood. Dave is one the best in the industry and looks after all the pros gear so its a perfect situation for the warranty. Our production facility is in LA as well with a company Rob and I use for several projects we are doing. They are a small shop that make several high end amps now you would know and are very detailed.
