Can a HBE mod be done to a Peavey Windsor?

You can get one of them used for $250. The mod is $500, new tranny is around $150? So when it's all said and done you can have a killer amp for around $900. Not bad at all.

It's a little more complicated than that:

Amp: $250
Full Retube with platinum matched tubes: $150
Upgraded Output/Power/Choke from Mercury Magnetics: $675
Mod: $500

Total is $1575. I also got a custom headshell and logo to make it look like a plexi. as well as some black chicken head knobs since Dave said the marshall knobs don't fit. It's going to look like sex and sound like sex. :rock:
 
Unfortunately, it's not here yet :cry:

I'm waiting for it to be tolexed and shipped my way.
