It's kinda cool to know how deep in the weeds Eddie went with his gear to get it to do what he needed to do. And it's for sure cool AF that someone who worked with him is sharing stuff that Eddie showed him. If you haven't read the Eruption book yet,go get on it right away. One of the better reads that will give you a glimpse into the mind of the mad scientist himself and his thought processes about gear. And I'm willing to betcha the above video works great for that outdated p.o.s. trem. But I'm betting it would still need tuning between songs if my gorilla mitts had their way with it.

To be honest, I'd sooner hear from Malmsteen than Ed on how to keep a standard trem in tune. Maybe he was lighter on the bar but his bends and vibrato are crazy.
