Can you use an Eventide Eclipse with a mixer?

Hi, I wanted to see what opinions were out there on this one.
I want to use just one effects processor and keep the rack small.
I have a CAA PT-50 head , GCX for channel switching and for loops used at the front end of the amp.
(different gain boxes, wah, boost etc) I wanted to buy a Eventide Eclipse for high quality time based effects and some pitch effects.
Can I used it without a mixer and without it killing my tone. (does the Eclipse have a good onboard way to mix wet/dry signals)

Thanks in advance for you opinions.
Cheers
Jamie

If you use it in a good Tube Buffered Parallel FX Loop, it will be extremely transparent even without using a mixer. Not used one in a Series Loop before though.
