Things don’t usually go how people imagine, and usually not how clever and well informed people imagine either. I’m becoming increasingly convinced the western neoliberal globalist empire is crumbling. And cartoon Klaus will not be able to save it — AI, drones and genetic vaccines or not.

That’s kind of why I think that Sagan quote resonates with me. The more we explore, the more we can zoom out. The more you zoom out, the more perspective you can get.

I understand it’s pretty altruistic of me, but the thought of utilizing and populating space is the golden opportunity for humanity to decide to do what’s best for the race. There are no borders in space. It’s all or nothing

I don't think it's a worthy goal even if I did think it was possible. How about we populate Greenland first for example. It's damn cold but at least we're starting with an atmosphere.

I'm betting anti-christ is the guy who brings down all these "evil" elites and in doing so is beloved by the masses who are very sick of these warped agendas.

Self defense is supported theologically though in orthodoxy it's said it's better to be killed than to kill because the orthodox christian has Christ while the aggressor doesn't. Still, as a man you have an obligation to protect your family.
