Can't decide if my guitar is cool ?

all this with the caveat of what was said above, blah blah if you like it then that's all that blah blah blah.

BUT, I am in fact happy that my daughter was not that hideous when she came out, so I didn't have to slap my wife...

In all seriousness though, dig the trem and the sunburst!
 
That pick guard would be right at home on a Yngwie or other cream colored Strat.

That looks horrible. I love it. And lol at the face paint comment.
 
First thing that comes to mind is steel panther. I love that guitar but for me personally , I would put on a solid color pickgaurd like white to go with the classic look and finish on the strat.
 
well to be perfectly honest what is to you is cool for you is not cool to me and it is quite obvious in the pickguard selection you chose.

Instant coolnees would be to get a white/black/white pickguard, either HSS , HS, HSH, H-S ;)
 
Don't listen to the haters. Pick up these two items, and join a Funk band.

It's so horrible that you should just give it away. Just kidding. I dig it. But I would put in chrome pup covers and a chrome knob. :rock:

Sidenote: I REALLY want one of the fender locking tremolos. What do you think of the trem?
 
They are pretty good , more dive bomb action than a fender vintage trem but slightly less than a Floyd . It's been great with locking tuners and graphite nut .
