can't fucking get guitar rig to pick up my guitar signal

it says in the manual to set the input device for the driver as guitar rig 3, but it won't give me that option.

fuck it. i'll try amplitube

amplitube is giving me the same problem

what am i doing wrong?
 
4 day weekend for me

and this thing is pissing me off

i don't get why it won't pick up my guitar signal.

using amplitube.

when i plug the guitar into the mic input on my comp the program picks that up but not the guitar signal.

pissing me off royally

i'm plugged into the line in input on my computer

have amplitube open. i get some static noise because of the amp settings

but it won't pick up a guitar signal

i know one of you can help dammit :gethim:
 
I'm not sure if you are running it with a sequencer or not. But I remember with Sonar 7, you just load the plugin and set the inputs/outputs of the plugin. How are you running it?

as a standalone

don't know if amplitube works that way

but i know guitar rig does. so i opened it again just to give it a shot since i know it works as a recorder / sequencer
 
Hmm can't help you there then. I always ran amplitube into my sequencer :(
 
Sorry.....I've been screwing around with my rip stations all week, and I got another week of it coming up. I got three PCs to downgrade to XP next week, and a new HP coming in Tuesday to set up. New software to learn, color profiles to build, new Epson 7880 to footprint and replace the whole current proofing system....So I pretty much hate all things digital right now, and outside of paying my bills tomorrow I'm going to avoid computers all weekend!!! :thumbsup:
 
At least you have the weekend :( I am slammed at work so it looks like no 3 day weekend for me, gotta go into the office all 3 days :cry:

i just get pissed with stuff like this cause it always winds up being something really simple that i didn't get
