Cant get the Ground Control Pro and VH-4 working....

I have the GCP setup so the bottom 4 buttons are presets, and the other buttons are for CC commands, but for some reason when I am banked all the way down, the number 1 button on the GCP won't change anything on the VH-4, if I bank up to the next bank, and that same number 1 button now becomes midi program number 11, it works fine, is there something I'm doing wrong, help me get these things communicating please!! Thanks!

The amp will only accept program changes, not CC commands.

What are you powering the GCP with?

I don't want to sound rude, but Im pretty sure that you are doing something wrong.

I control my VH4 (+ other equipment) with GCP and everything is working extremely well. Recently I wrote here short instructions how to program GCP with VH4 or Herbert (see link bellow).

Another thing that came to my mind is that, have you checked from the GCP setup that is the MIDI-command range starting from 0 or from 1?
