took the tip of a medium pick and slid it under the back of the neck - lowered the floyd and adjusted some things, problem solved. Got what I needed, still got room for trem action. Might go for a more "correct" solution in the future, but for now she's working. Thanks for all the tips, advice, etc...!

Love it   from can't be done, to fixed with a tip of a pick

yeah, pretty funny   ... actually part of the problem was me - I hadn't thought real hard about it and was thinking it needed recessed - that's what I called the 1st guy about, when all I really wanted was the trem lowered a bit. I remembered hearing the neck pocket was angled - I never really put it together that by raising the back end, it would put less of an angle, then allow lowering of the bridge- basic physics I guess, which I obviously failed! :D Thanks to the forum from keeping me from paying some guy too much for what I wanted

edit - actually probably all the problem was me...

I think the problem is the Kramer logo. Mixing a Charvel with a Kramer is like mixing the Sharks with the Jets. It's just not done. Well, I mean besides by Van Halen.
